Jeanne-Aurore and I are both very nostalgic of the nineties minimalism (even though I have a hard time today to keep wearing those long jersey dresses that felt beautifully to the ankle...) This style was reminded to me through two models while I was visiting an exhibition called “Fashion and technology” at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. The one on the left is from Bonnie August, it’s from the seventies, but its simplicity was still relevant two decades later. The one on the right was created in 1987 and is a perfect illustration of its times, as this crêpe and Lycra mix has been seen on all the Hollywood stars... and even in my own wardrobe from this period!
